Cancellation Policy
For the client’s convenience, in lieu of an advance deposit, we administer a cancellation fee of 10% of the job flat rate (or one hour of labor for hourly-priced jobs) for any cancellations within 72 hours of scheduled job start. If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, send an email to [email protected] with your notice of cancellation. The timestamp on your cancellation email will be our reference for whether the last-minute cancellation fee will apply.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the move. We accept cash, checks, Venmo, Zelle, and card (3.5% processing charge for cards).
Packing Policy
If you have not confirmed additional packing services with us in advance, please ensure that you are fully packed and ready to go when we arrive on move day. We define this as loose household items being packed into closed containers with a secured lid/method of containment (e.g. taped boxes, totes, or bags with zippers or ties). We recommend that you pack as much of your household items into boxes as possible, as boxes load more efficiently in the truck and protect your items more effectively than bags. Please pack your items safely and securely, as we are not responsible for the contents of containers not packed by our movers. Please contact us with questions or recommendations if applicable.

The following are recommended that you move yourself. If you decide to have us move them for you, please note that they are covered at Virginia Standard Transit Coverage of $0.60/lb/item, regardless of value.
